4-H Members, families, and sponsors are invited to this year's 4-H Awards Banquet, February 22, 6pm, at Rolling Hall in Fort Madison. There will be food, fun, and MAGIC!

Chestnuts are no longer just a Christmas nut. The demand for chestnuts is rapidly increasing, creating a market opportunity for those interested in growing chestnuts in the tri-state area. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting a Chestnut Field Day for new and experienced chestnut growers on March 14th in West Point, Iowa.

The Keokuk Public Library will be hosting a screening of “Terra Firma,” a documentary film about female farmer veterans on Monday, March 30th at 6:00 pm in the Round Room. The event is sponsored by AAUW, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach of Lee County, and the Keokuk Public Library Foundation.
