Local child care providers will have the opportunity to gain ideas for using gardening as a learning activity through these workshops. Participants will learn how to share the joys of gardening with their childcare kids through various activities, crafts, books, and more!

To celebrate ISU Extension and Outreach, as well as National Agriculture Week, Lee County Extension and Outreach is inviting local businesses, farmers, and other Extension supporters to an after hours open house on Thursday, March 26 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

The Keokuk Public Library will be hosting a screening of “Terra Firma,” a documentary film about female farmer veterans on Monday, March 30th at 6:00 pm in the Round Room. The event is sponsored by AAUW, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach of Lee County, and the Keokuk Public Library Foundation.
