Join Patty Steiner, Nutrition & Health Specialist for ISU Extension and Outreach, to learn current methods of safe home food preservation.
 
Home food preservation isn’t difficult, but does require following directions exactly. Learn the why and how of home food preservation, and safe methods of canning and freezing. Take home USDA-approved recipes and handouts. Even if you have been canning for years, come and learn the latest recommendations!
 
You will also be able to sign up to have your canner gauge tested!
