January 20, 2015

Entrepreneurs will have one last chance to compete this winter for the opportunity to win up to $5000 for their business startup or expansion through the 2015 Lee County Business Plan Competition. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach has extended the deadline for the competition to January 30, 2015 in hopes that more entrepreneurs will apply.

January 9, 2015

Four officers were elected during the Lee County Extension Council organizational meeting Jan. 7. The nine-member council annually elects officers to comply with Iowa law. Five newly elected members of the Lee County Extension Council were presented with Certificates of Election during the meeting. They were elected in the Nov. 4, 2014 general election and began their four-year terms in January.

March 23-29th is Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Week, a time to celebrate the staff, volunteers, and supporters that help ISU Extension and Outreach reach Iowans through our educational programs.
