The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Master Gardener program will hold its core training sessions this fall for individuals interested in becoming Master Gardeners.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa -- The Iowa Pork Industry Center and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach are teaming up to provide training for pork producers and others who need certification in either Pork Quality Assurance Plus program or Transport Quality Assurance. A certification session for each has been set on Tuesday, June 6, in Henry County.

After a brief hiatus away from Agronomy in the Field, we'll resume our summer sessions on Monday, May 8 at 5:00 p.m. down at the Southeast Research and Demonstration Farm (SERF) near Crawfordsville, IA. Just like last summer, we'll offer light snacks and fantastic conversation about relevant agronomic topics and we hope to see you all there! The first session will be on spring cover crop management and corn growth and development, as well as any other topics that might come up!
