An amazing youth conference is taking place on campus at Iowa State University on June 24-26! Friends, fun, speakers, games, dances, and memories to last a lifetime are all in store. You will get to experience campus life, and meet new people from across the state! You will be having fun while learning by doing, dancing the nights away, and serving the community. You will get to learn new things to take back to your community and school, and in the process you might even discover something new about yourself! There are opportunities for you to share your talents with the rest of the delegation through small group discussion, the Conference Chorus, and a Talent Show!
There will be a bus will that will pick-up and drop-off delegates in Mt. Pleasant, Fairfield, Ottumwa, and Oskaloosa. The cost for each delegate in 2008 will be $50.00. The bus is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED for each delegate. It is a great chance for members to meet and have fun in transit to and from the conference.
Cost for the conference is $120 and the Keokuk County 4H fruit sales will pay for half of the registration cost for 4H members. Registration information can be obtained through the Extension Office and is due in the office on May 19th, 2008!
