This is the 17th year for the Queen contest in Jones County. Application and letter are available electronically or by stopping at the Fair office, 800 North Maple Street, Monticello, IA; Monday thru Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. The deadline is June 6th, 2016.

Sale will feature a variety of perennial plants for local growing conditions.  Plus other horticulture related items and baked goods. Proceeds go towards scholarship and horticulture programs offered in Jones county.

This short course is free!   SafeFood 4-H is a short course on food safety from ISUEO and includes information on proper temperatures, hygiene, cross-contamination, and cleaning and sanitizing. This course will help 4-H members, leaders, and parents and guardians better understand how to handle food in food stands, fundraisers, and even 4-H projects!
