Become an Iowa Master Gardener by completing the core training course this fall at the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Jones County office at 800 North Maple Street in Monticello, Iowa. Gardeners will learn best practices for choosing plants, designing gardens, and managing pests. Classes start in September.

Iowa State University Extension and Outrach in Jones County is hosting a farmland leasing meeting on Thursday, August 6th at 6 pm to address questions that land owners, tenants or other interested individuals have regarding farmland leasing.

An estimated 33,000 people attended "Camp Cy - a Statewide Adventure" during the Iowa State Fair. They learned how ISU Extension and Outreach takes Iowa State to every Iowa county.
