Interested in joining 4-H in Johnson County?

Our typical enrollment period is from September 15th through May 15th. Here is some helpful information to help you get started. Want to find out what the excitement is all about? Click here to Explore 4-H.
4-H is a program offered for youth in the 4th through the 12th grades. The first step is to pick a club which may be determined by location, age, or special interests. Click here to See a map of Johnson County 4-H Clubs (grades 4th-12th) in Johnson County. Once you know where you might like to go click on this list of contact information to See a list of 4-H Clubs (grades 4th - 12th) in Johnson County. The club leaders would be happy to tell you about their club including meeting times, special club rules, and interests.
There is also special clubs for "Clover Kids" children K-3. Click here to See a list of 4-H Clover Kid Clubs (Kindergarten - 3rd grade) in Johnson County.
Once you have decided on a club it is time to register. The 4-H Online database is the method for Online Registration. Here is a Helpsheet for New Members/Families enrolling on 4-H Online for the first time. The Database tells the club leader and the extension office who you are, where you live, and what your project interests are.
Now the fun begins! To help you Pick Your Adventure you can See a list of 4-H Projects and Learn about each of those 4-H Projects. Join your club for the monthly meetings and they can help you along the way.

The Iowa City Noon Rotary Club presented the McNutt 4-H Rotary Leadership Award to two outstanding Johnson County 4-H youth on April 2.

Johnson County 4-H was the recipient of the America’s Farmers Grow Communities campaign.
