Enroll
Your Child
Does your child need an extra
adult role model in their life? Think about enrolling your child today.
Below are a few initial points to consider:
- Your child must be at least 6
years old to participate and can participate until they are 18 years
old.
- Parent(s) and/or guardian(s)
and the
child must voluntarily participate.
- We serve both single and two
parent families.
- There are no income requirements.
- No transportation is needed.
- Your child must live within
Johnson County.
How does enrollment work?
Parents or guardians and children
participate in an orientation and family interview. A professional case
manager is involved in every step of the matching process and stays in
contact with all members of the match throughout the relationship. Boys
are matched with males, females, couples, or families. Girls are
matched with females. Our volunteers complete a thorough screening
process, including a volunteer orientation and a personal interview.
To enroll your child in the Big
Brothers Big Sisters program, please contact our Enrollment Specialist,
