This hourly position is up to 1145 hours during the August - May school year. Schedule may fluctuate to prepare and provide out-of-school education and enrichment opportunities. Occasional night and weekend work a must. This position provides assistance to ISU Extension and Outreach for organization and delivery of youth education programs in Jefferson County school systems. Requirements are: experience teaching and/or leading group activities with K-12 youth, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, ability to lift 25 pounds, and successfully pass the background screening in Child Protection Safety Program. Minimum two-year post-secondary degree required, four-year degree in positive youth development-related area preferred. Hourly wage rate based on experience and education.
