Jefferson County ISU Extension and Outreach is looking or a proactive leader that will provide program leadership for the 4-H club program, Clover Kids, after school programming, summer day camps, and other youth and adult opportunities. The successful candidate will be dependable, motivated, enthusiastic, and a creative team player and demonstrate diplomacy, leadership, organization, and the ability to work with the public, volunteers, and adults/youth. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and attend out of town trainings. Bachelor degree preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and be able to pass background screen and be able to lift 40 pounds. 32 hours per week with the possibility of increased hours with increased program participation and 4-H enrollment. Wage of $13.50 to $15.50 per hour. Hourly rate is dependent on educational level and prior experience. For additional information concerning this job contact Stan Hughes stanh@iastate.edu. This is a hands on clinic with individualized attention, so youth should bring their show calf, grooming equipment and be prepared to get dirty and have fun!  If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Gardner, Jefferson County CYC, 641-472-4166.  Lunch and Dinner will be provided!
