4-H Clubs

Below is a listing of 4-H Clubs in Jeferson County.  Youth may belong to any club.  When selecting a club consider when and where the club meets. Also, consider specific activities the club may be involved in, such as the Horse Club or the Gardening Club. 

4-H Community Clubs

  • Ceniteers-Meet 3rd Monday at Fairgrounds.  Club Leaders:Marvin Larson
  • Des Moines Ramblers-Meet 1st Sunday in Libertyville. Club Leaders: Becky Goehring
  • Jefferson G's-Meet 2nd Saturday at Fairgrounds.  Club Leaders: Sharie Leazer
  • Hay Bales-meet last Wednesday of month at Fairgrounds.  Club leaders: Janice Shaw
  • Packwood Trojans-Meet 2nd Wednesday near Packwood.  Club Leaders: Gail Molkenthin
  • Penn Workers-meet 2nd Thursday at Fairgrounds.  Club Leaders: Kim Lacey  &  Penny Morgan
  • Round Prairie Echoes-Meet 1st Monday near Lockridge.  Club Leaders: Melinda Estle
  • Walnut Ridge Workers-Meet 2nd Sunday near Lockridge.  Club Leaders: Julie Wilson

4-H Special Interest Clubs

  • Shooting Sports-Meet 3rd Sunday.  Club leaders: Marvin Larson
  • Garden Project-Meet at various times.  Club Leader: Kim Keller
  • Dog Project-Meet in Spring.  Club Leader: Jodi Hellweg
  • Horse Project-Meet in Spring/Summer.  Club Leader: Linda McIntire

Clover Kids Clubs (K-3rd grade)

  • Fairfield Clover Kids-Meet 2nd Thursday at Fairgrounds.  Club Leader: Shirley & Leland Stanley
  • Packwood Clover Kids-Meet 2nd Wednesday at Prairieview United Methodist Church.  Club Leaders: Gina Greiner
  • Lockridge Clover Kids-Meed 2nd Sunday at Lockridge Senior Center.  Club Leaders: Julie Wilson
