This is a real blow to hundreds of kids in central Iowa who will now end up in front of television sets and computers during the summer months when they could have gone to this wonderfully run, safe, secure day camp. When pediatricians are urging parents to get their kids outdoors, you close this opportunity to them at a most critical time. I've taken several groups of college-aged students to the camp. For some, the memories made at camp, even as adult "kids" are everlasting. I've become a bit ashamed of my ISU heritage in recent months. What, may I ask, will this money be diverted to in the future that is more important than connecting people with nature?
