Feeling stretched caring for an adult with chronic conditions?
POWERFUL TOOLS FOR CAREGIVERS is a class designed to provide you—the family caregiver—with the skills you need to take care of yourself.
Six ninety-minute class sessions held once a week are led by certified, experienced class leaders.
You’ll learn to:
• Reduce stress • Better communicate your feelings
• Improve self-confidence • Increase ability to make tough decisions
• Balance your life • Locate helpful resources
This workshop is held on Wednesdays, April 5, 12, 19, and May 3, 10, 17.  1:30 to 3:00 pm
Cost is $10.00. Held at the Jefferson County Extension Office
Please register by March 31st.

Gary Whittenbaugh is conducting these classes: Gardening With Conifers will be on March 21st, Tuesday at 5:30 to 7 pm. Gardening out of your Comfort Zone will be Saturday, April 15th at 10 am to 11:30 am. Rock Gardens & Their Plants will be Saturday, May 27th at 10 am to 11:30 am. Each event will be held at the Jefferson County Extension Office at 2606 West Burlington Ave. in Fairfield. We are located on the fair grounds on Highway 34. Call 641-472-4166 for more info.
