Jasper County Fair Queen

Jasper County Fair Queen Applications are available.  Please read through the letter and fill out an application if you are interested in trying out for the Jasper County Fair Queen (girls age 16-21).  Applications will be due at the office or the parent meeting on June 24th, if you are unable to attend the meeting please give Tobi Nearmeyer a call to obtain information and email her a "head shot" photo? . Contestants will meet the judges and have their interviews on July 12th. The queen crowning will be July 18th at the Jasper County Fair Big Tent.

ISU Extension and Outreach is conducting farmland leasing meetings in 12 different sites across Central Iowa during late July and August. Meeting sites include Oskaloosa, Boone, Altoona, Nevada, Grinnell, Knoxville, Adel, Newton, Indianola, Traer, Marshalltown and Winterset and are coordinated by county ISU Extension and Outreach offices.
