Youth currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade have the opportunity to participate in the Summer Discovery Camp and Growing in the Garden Camp this summer. 

Each camp meets one day per week for six weeks.  Cost for each camp is $10.00 and registrations are due by June 1 to the Jackson County Extension Office.

The Summer Discovery Camp is for 7-12 year old youth (3rd-5th grade).  Youth participating in the Summer Discovery Camp will create wild and wacky mixtures, build shape structures, participate in water fun, learn the science of your senses, make and eat tasty nutritious snacks, and more.  Locations, camp dates, and registration forms are as follows:

The Growing in the Garden Camp is for 5-9 year old youth (K-3rd grade).  Youth participating in the Growing in the Garden Camp will learn how to plant a garden, find out how plants grow, make fun nature crafts, create and eat tasty nutritious snacks from the garden, get your hands in the dirt and have fun.  Locations, camp dates, and registration forms are as follows:
