Windows Vista

Windows 7 has replaced Windows Vista as the newest Microsoft desktop operating system. Windows 7 should generally be used in place of Windows Vista for all new computers or upgrades.

If you wish to install Windows Vista (instead of the more current Windows 7), please review the information below.

  1. If upgrading, review the Vista hardware requirements.
  2. Review the software compatibility list to determine if your applications will work with Vista.
  3. Follow the installation instructions.
  4. Optionally install a printer.
