License Agreement for Office and Windows

Iowa State University, including Extension field offices, is covered under a Microsoft Campus Agreement (MCA) through the Board of Regents.

This means that ISU Extension offices are licensed to install Microsoft Office Enterprise Edition and Microsoft Windows upgrades. CDs (or DVDs) of current versions of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows are distributed to ISU Extension offices shortly after they are released by Microsoft.

Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise was distributed to ISU Extension offices via the February 2, 2007 transmittal packet.

Microsoft Windows Vista Enterprise was distributed to ISU Extension offices via the April 13, 2007 transmittal packet.

Note: The MCA agreement covers Windows upgrades. This means that a computer must be purchased with a copy of Microsoft Windows before you can use the MCA to upgrade Windows on that machine.
