Installing VPN Manually

(These instructions assume that you are already at https://vpn.iastate.edu and that automatic install has failed)

  1. Click on the link 'Windows Vista/64/XP/2000
  2. Select 'Run'
  3. Select 'Run again
  4. In the window titled 'Welcome to Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client Setup Wizard, click 'Next'
  5. Accept the license agreement
  6. Click 'Install'
  7. If requested, enter your administrator password
  8. Click 'Finish'

Once the installation is complete, you can connect VPN immediately by clicking on 'AnyConnect' in the left column.  To connect at a later time, go to  https://vpn.iastate.edu
