Hear from ISU Extension ag engineer Greg Brenneman on manure value and Innovative Ag's Dave Rueber on closeout comparisons. The 6 p.m. dinner is provided by the Clinton County Cattlemen. The peer group met at the Jackson County Extension Office with dinner and “Accessing Capital” presentations by Steve Ferguson, Iowa Ag Development Authority; Craig Thines, USDA Farm Loan Program; Farm Credit Services of America, Manchester office; Rick Prull, Bellevue State Bank, Bellevue; and Nathan Katzer, Farm Business Development Manager, Iowa Farm Bureau. Purpose of the group is to meet about four times per year to improve the profitability and management of young and beginning livestock producers.
