Western Iowa Youth Progress Show
May 6, 2013

Ida County Youth 4-H Council will be hosting the Western Iowa Youth Progress Show on Sunday, May 26th. There will be Champion payouts. This Progress Show is sanctioned with the Iowa Swine Jackpot Series.

Design Camps: June 11-14, 2013
May 6, 2013

Explore Design is a one day camp for 4-H'ers entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. This camp uses hands-on design projects to introduce students to the fun of design and creativity.

Design Innovation is a three-day design workshop for 4-H'ers and students entering 10th grade through recent high school graduates. Design Innovation will introduce 4-H'ers to careers and lifelong opportunities in design.

Iowa Youth Can Unmask Opportunities at the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference This Summer

Every June, more than 1,000 teenagers converge on the Iowa State University campus for three days full of speakers, workshops, mixers, dances, a banquet and community service activities. The 2013 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference, titled UnMask Your Opportunities, will begin June 25 and continue through June 27.

Vaccination and Health Recommendations for Iowa Swine Shows

With the advent of county fair swine shows in Iowa just a few weeks from now, there are specific steps that exhibitors and fair attendees can follow to decrease health risks for animals and people at these events.
