Ida County 4-H Youth Council is providing an evening of babysitting! Go Christmas Shopping, Out for Dinner, See a Movie, or Just Take a Break! This service will be offered to the first 30 children signed up! Cost will be $5.00 per child or maximum of $20 per family. A light supper, snacks, crafts, and games will be included in the cost! 01/02/2010- Ida County 4-H Beef Weigh-In
This weigh-in is for all individual market steers and heifers, as well as, calf and yearling pens.

01/06/2010- Commercial Manure Applicator Program
This workshop will provide the state-mandated hours of annual training required for commercial manure applicators. Registration will begin at 8:30 AM.

01/13/2010- Private Pesticide Applicator Training
Registration begins at 1:00 PM. Pre-registration is not required, but appreciated. Remember to bring your certification number - social security numbers are not accepted. Checks are to be made payable to: Ida County Extension

01/19/2010- Confinement Site Manure Applicator Training
Iowa law requires confinement site manure applicators to obtain two hours of continuing education each year of their three-year certification period or take and pass the exam once every three years. Pre-registration is not required, but appreciated.
