Humboldt Public Library and Humboldt County Extension will be hosting a Garden & Tree Care Seminar on Saturday, April 20th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1212 Sumner Ave, Humboldt, IA. Admission and refreshments are free. Dr. Jesse Randall, ISU Extension Forestry Specialist and Assistant Professor, will have presentations on Tree Pests and Diseases and Tree Care - Old and New. Yvonne McCormick, Region 7 Horticulturist will present a presentation on Hardy Landscape Plants. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.

Door prizes from Oaks Garden Spot, Fareway, Gilmore Garden Center, River Valley Orchards and Winery, HyVee, and Wempen's Garden Center will be given out (must be present to win).
