Strengthening Your Facilitation Skills

Strengthening Your Facilitation Skills is a five-session workshop series. Each workshop explores concepts and tools used to enhance the performance of decision-making groups, and gives participants time to practice in mini facilitation sessions. Topics and tools covered include:
· group development stages
· principles of facilitation
· core values of facilitation
· designing a meeting
· decision-making tools
· thinking and learning styles
· diagnosing and intervening in group process
· the clarifying circle
· and other topics.
The training team of Abbey Gaffey, Joani Schweitzer, Andy Larson, Brian Dunn, Chris Mondak, Rachel Klein, and Don Broshar use a curriculum developed by University of Maine – Cooperative Extension.
