Wednesday, June 20 was the day for the 4-H Pet Show at the Howard County Fair. Judging the 4-H Pet show this year was Mayor Donald P. Arendt from Decorah, Iowa. Each pet entry was exhibited with a booklet showing the animal's care and some facts about the animal.
Those participating in this show were:
Alex Mackenburg with his Gerbil Lucy and his Vizsla Dog Rusty.
Whitney Bohr and her Labrador Dog Calli.
Shane Trautsch and his Goldfish Finn and his Hermit Crab Houdini.
Ashley Haw and her Cat Zydeco.
All of the pet show entries received Blue Ribbons.
