2012 4-H and FFA Meat Goat Show Results

The Meat Goat show entered its sixth year at the Mighty Howard County Fair in 2012. The show was held on Thursday, June 21. Corey Happel, Fairbank, Iowa was the judge for the morning.
The Champion Market Goat was shown by Erin Ryan, Howard Center Stars 4-H Club. She received a trophy sponsored by the Howard County Fair. Erin also received Reserve Champion Market Goat and rate of gain with an average daily gain of .37.
Other participants in the market goat show included Madison Drilling, two blues; Dylan Orth, two blues; Sabrina Andera, blue; and Alex Andera, blue.
Jonathan Gardner exhibited a pygmy goat and received a blue ribbon.
