Iowa State University Extension to Families is offering a certificate in Family Development and Parenting Education in one location at the same time!
The Family Development Certification (FDCT) and Partnering with Parents (PWP) trainings will be offered in Des Moines, Iowa in Winter/Spring 2010. This combined training focuses on core competencies identified for family support workers, including those needed for parenting education.
You can earn...
- a Family Development Certificate by participating in eight scheduled days of training,
- a Parenting Education Certificate of Completion by participating in ten days of training, or
- both by participating in 13 days of training.
