Iowa's Aging Resources

Iowa Department of Elder Affairs - The Iowa Department of Elder Affairs administers programs and services for people aged 60 years and older. Find contact information for the department. Visit the FAQs page for contact information on fraud, health care, housing , elder abuse, and other issues.

BenefitsCheckUp from the National Council on the Aging is available free to all seniors and caregivers. The program searches more than 1,100 federal, state, and private benefit and prescription drug programs and finds those for which the senior may be eligible.
