Adults May Register Now for 2012 Iowa Travel Adventures

The rich culture and interesting lifestyles of Iowa’s most unique communities await participants in the Road Scholar program from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. The 2012 travel schedule includes tours of Iowa’s uncommon utopian communities, historic towns along the Upper Mississippi River and a four-state tour along the Missouri River.
 

Classes Help Family Caregivers Learn to Take Better Care of Themselves

When caregivers take better care of themselves, they can provide better care to their older adult loved ones. That’s the philosophy behind Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a series of classes provided by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Classes for caregivers are scheduled in local communities throughout the year. The next training session for class leaders is April 26-27 in Urbandale.
