Darbee is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BS in Animal Science (2002) and an MS in Agricultural Education and Studies (2004).   She has served Iowa State as a Youth Program Specialist, has taught middle school science and has worked for Pioneer Hi-Bred as a field inspector.
