ISU Extension has provided food safety instruction to over 1200 employees of the Mt. Pleasant Foods plant. Begining in April 2003--Extension has assisted with over 60 classes. THe 16 hour instructional courses emphasizes personal responbsiblity in preventing food borne illness.
