Chestnuts are no longer just a Christmas nut. The demand for chestnuts is rapidly increasing, creating a market opportunity for those interested in growing chestnuts in the tri-state area. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting a Chestnut Field Day for new and experienced chestnut growers on March 14th in West Point, Iowa.
