Southeast Iowa youth had the pooortunity to explore sciemce, technology, engineering, and math by attending the Iowa State University Extension & Outreach STEM trip to Ames March 12th, 2015.  Fifty-one sixth through eigth graders in Des Moines, Henry, Lee, and Louisa counties took advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

The Henry County Teen Council, along with the Henry County Extension Staff held a Tailgate Awards Night on Friday, September 26th, at the Wright Family Pavilion on the Fairgrounds.  The event was held to recognize 4-H’ers and 4-H leaders for their hard work throughout the year, as well as their years of service.

Try out different clubs and find one that makes you feel great! 4H activities, events, workshops and more to make fun happen!  Friends- join a clubto be with them, or join a club to make new ones!  Your voice matters- in 4H we want to hear what you like to do and what you want to try-share what we can do to make your experience the best!  Choice is a HUGE one- so many options of things you can do and try.  4H is all YOU want it to be!
