The fun and excitement in being one of the PIONEERS in this new FRONTEIR is incredible in what we have been able to do with vehicles we just send to Mars. Robotics Camp

Imagine It, Build It and Watch It Go!This adventure will have you creating and programming cool robots out of Legos on your first day. Join us for a five day or three day camp on how to build and  program NXT Robots. Learn to use sensors and build and program your robot to meet a series of challenges. Become an expert Programmer and Builder for FIRST Lego League or just have fun learning to work with robotics.  Workshops will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day.

ISU Extension Program Specialist, Barb Fuller visited the Harrison County Extension Office on Saturday, March 29th to educate Harrison County residents on canning, dehydrating, and freezing.  Eighteen interested residents joined us and took part in the workshop which was offered at no charge.

When most adults hear the word “stress,” they often think about jobs, household chores, financial challenges, parenting responsibilities and difficult relationships with friends and family. The idea of stress in childhood is often dismissed. No bills, no work; what’s there for young children to be stressed about? Young children, however, experience the world very differently than adults.
