: "Ready, Set, Know" - Missouri Valley 1st Grade

: "Ready, Set, Know" is a personal safety program presented in the classroom to serve children in the 1st and 3rd grades. Although its primary purpose is sexual abuse prevention, the assertiveness skills the children learn are not only applicable to abusive situations, but also to everyday problems children may encounter. Youth participate in large and small group activities and discussions, view audio-visual materials and practice assertiveness skills.
