Hardin County ISU Extension will offer two confinement site manure applicator workshops on Tuesday, January 31, at the Hardin County Extension Office at 524 Lawler Street in Iowa Falls. The first will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and the second from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

The Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation (HCCEF) will provide grants to improve the quality of life in Hardin County, Iowa. Deadline for grant applications is 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2017, with grant recipients being announced in early April. Nonprofit agencies, schools, units of government, or other qualifying charitable organizations operating for the benefit of Hardin County may apply.
