Hancock County 4-H will be celebrating and recognizing the hard work 4-H members have put into their 4-H projects  at the annual 4-H Awards & Recognition Program on Sunday, November 9th from 4:00 -5:30pm at the Garner Hayfield Ventura high school auditorium.   As part of the celebration, there will be a theme basket silent auction to raise funds for Hancock County 4-H.

Farmers and landowners will learn about the new programs authorized by the Agricultural Act of 2014 (commonly referred to as the Farm Bill) at an informational meeting conducted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and local USDA Farm Service Agency staff members.
