Do you enjoy working with youth in a variety of hands-on educational programs? Hancock County Extension is seeking a Youth Enrichment Coordinator to work with a diverse out-of-school time programs and events. Responsibility for the development and implementation of additional learning opportunities as part of the youth development program for Hancock County. The coordinator will manage a statewide recognized First Lego League Program, provide leadership to afterschool clubs and additional science or technology based activities. A part-time position, with flexible hours, of 20-24 hours per week year round.  Hours will vary based on schedule and the ability to work during afterschool hours a few days per week. Experience working with youth audiences of all ages is desired.

Would you like to build a robot using LEGOS, program it to do missions, and solve challenges with your teammates?  Then this camp is for you.  You do not need to be a 4-H member to sign up, but the camp is limited to 18 participants so if you want to enroll click here for the registration form.  Registartion deadline is Friday, May 30. Non 4-H members also need to complete a Medical Form.

Hancock County Extension is seeking a 4-H food stand manager during the Hancock County District Fair, July 22-28.  4-H food stand will be run very similarly as the 2013 fair, a smaller menu of food items available at a stand by the show ring.
