The purpose of 4-H recordkeeping is to teach how to keep records, which is an important life skill. Recordkeeping is an ongoing process that does not end when the 4-H year ends. Youth are encouraged to select from a variety of alternatives to meet their individual recordkeeping needs and learning styles.

August 27, 2015

All students who are in 5th grade of above may take this course.  Training will take place at the Hamilton County Extension office on September 15, 22 and 29.  Presentations by a nurse, police officer, mothers of young children, experienced baby-sitters, and Extension personnel will be included in the training.

Get Acquainted and Belonging Activities are very important for any group as they are forming. It allows them to share things they have in common and to connect with others of similar interests. It also provides opportunities for people to practice social skills which are so imporant in making new friends and learning how to find a place in your group.
