A new volunteer group, “Hamilton County Friends of the Fair”, is being formed to achieve this goal. Acting to supplement the basic grounds keeping chores currently performed at the fairgrounds, this group will be organized to perform any additional needed horticultural-related tasks, such as pruning, spring cleanup, flower bed plantings, and provide general advice on landscaping or plant health, etc.
Membership is open to any Hamilton County resident with an interest in the well-being of the county fair, who possesses a basic general knowledge of horticulture or the desire to learn. Meetings will include educational programs and horticultural information for members.
