VEISHEA Scholarships - for outstanding high school seniors. VEISHEA is delighted to award both Leadership & Community Involvement Scholarships in the amount of $500 each to students entering ISU in the fall of 2014. High school transcript, letter(s) of recommendation and a self-addressed stamped envelope must be enclosed with the typed application and POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 14, 2014.
Hamilton County 4-H Foundation Fair Scholarships -- Open to Hamilton County 4-H members graduating from high school in Spring 2014. Application and photo are DUE ON OR BEFORE JUNE 1, 2014.
Norman Greufe Scholarship - a $200 scholarship given to an active Hamilton County 4-H member, with good scholastic records, graduating from high school in Spring 2014 and who has been accepted as a freshman at an accredited college. Application and photo are DUE ON OR BEFORE APRIL 1, 2014.
Everett & Mary Be Tolstrup Scholarship- Will be awarded to Hamilton County 4-H member who has been accepted as a freshman or sophomore at Iowa State University for the fall 2014 semester. Application and photo are Due on or Before APRIL 1, 2014.
Weldon Tapper Scholarship - A $200 scholarship given to an active Hamilton County 4-H member, with good scholastic records, graduating from high school in Spring 2014 and who has been accepted as a freshman at an Iowa college or university in a four year or more program. Application and photo are DUE ON OR BEFORE APRIL 1, 2014.
Hamilton County Cattlemen's Scholarship- for high school seniors and current college students who attended school in Hamilton County. Applicant needs to be majoring in an agricultural field. Three scholarships of $500 will be awarded to three students having attended a school in Hamilton County. Application and other documentation MUST BE RETURNED TO THE HAMILTON COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE BY June 1, 2014.
Hamilton County Pork Producers Scholarship- Post secondary student or incoming freshman at any two or four year institution in Iowa, Hamilton County resident, Parents must be current members of Hamilton County Pork Producers, Major in an ag related field preferred, Maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA as a full time student. Applications and other documentation postmarked by April 1, 2014.
