4-H Scholarship Freshman- for freshman. Application must be RECEIVED by FEBRUARY 1st.
4-H Scholarship College- for current college students. Application must be RECEIVED by FEBRUARY 1st.
Alpha Gamma Rho Scholarship- for hIgh school seniors who will be attending Iowa State University. alpha Gamma Rho, a professional agricultural fraternity at ISU annually sponsors a $250 scholarship to recognize a high school senior who has been active in 4-H and will be attending ISU next year. The applicant should have an interest in agriculture or the food, fiber and life sciences. APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY MARCH 5th!
VEISHEA Scholarships - for outstanding high school seniors. VEISHEA is delighted to award both Leadership & Community Involvement Scholarships in the amount of $500 each to students entering ISU in the fall of 2008. High school transcript, letter(s) of recommendation and a self-addressed stamped envelope must be enclosed with the typed application and POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 2, 2008.

Doug Messerly Scholarship - A $500 scholarship given to a Hamilton County 4-H Beef Exhibitor graduating from high school in Spring 2008. The Doug Messerly Family Charitable Trust has been established with income to be used for a scholarship for a Hamilton County 4-H member who has been accepted as a freshman at an accredited college. Recipients should be active 4-H'ers with good scholastic records. Application and photo are DUE ON OR BEFORE APRIL 1, 2008.

Hamilton County Cattlemen's Scholarship- for high school seniors and current college students who attended school in Hamilton County. Applicant needs to be majoring in an agricultural field. Three scholarships of $500 will be awarded to three students having attended a school in Hamilton County. The scholarships will be awarded at the Hamilton County Fair. Application and other documentation MUST BE RETURNED TO THE HAMILTON COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE BY June 1, 2008.
