Annie's Project is an educational program dedicated to strengthening women's roles in the modern farm enterprise.  Through six educational sessions, Annie's Project fosters problem solving, record keeping, and decision-making skills in farm women.

The 2013 4-H Recognition materials and applications have been updated on the Recognition Opportunities public webpage.  Recognition in 4-H is an acknowledgment and affirmation of the personal growth of an individual. Recognition in 4-H includes encouragement and support for learning and comes as a result of participation in educational experiences.

Leadership by the City of Webster City, Hamilton County Conservation and ISU Extension and Outreach, Hamilton County organize a  community wide service project to clean up - Boone River here in Hamilton County.  This project helps the environment and helps to make the river safer and more enjoyable for all.

Families who keep receipts for their back-to-school expenses may be able to save money on their Iowa taxes next winter!  The Iowa K-12 Tuition and Textbook Credit applies not just to “Tuition” and “Textbooks,” but also to most required materials for classes and extra-curricular activities, according to Barb Wollan, Family Finance Program Specialist with Iowa State University Extension.  School registration fees also qualify.
