06/04/2008- First Fair Meeting
What is expected when you show at the fair? Youth Field Specialist, Ray Reynold, will walk you through the steps of preparing for the fair, and answer your questions.

06/07/2008- Communications Day
4-H members give educational presentations and working exhibits before judges. Posters are also judged. All these compete for opportunity to advance to the Iowa State Fair.

08/05/2008- Recognition Workshop
Learn how to apply for recognition at the county level. Learn what awards are available and the requirements for those awards.

10/01/2008- Roadside, Forest, and Aquatic Pest Managment
The 2008 Roadside, Forest and Aquatic Pest Management CIC for commercial pesticide applicators will provide continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 2, Forest Pest Control; 5, Aquatic Pest Control; 6, Right-of-Way Pest Control; and 10, Demonstration and Research.

10/23/2008- Mosquito and Public Health Pest Management
The 2008 Mosquito/Public Health Pest Management CIC for commercial pesticide applicators will provide continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 7D, Community Insect Management; 8, Public Health Pest Control; and 10, Demonstration and Research.

11/12/2008- Ornamental & Turf Applicators
The 2008 Ornamental and Turfgrass Applicators CIC for commercial pesticide applicators will provide continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 2, 3O, 3T, 3OT and 10.

11/19/2008- Commercial Ag Weed, Insect, and Plant Disease Management
The 2008 Commercial Ag Weed, Insect and Plant Disease CIC for commercial pesticide applicators will provide continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, and 10.

12/03/2008- Grain Fumigation
The 2008 Grain Fumigation CIC for commercial pesticide applicators will provide continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 7C - Fumigation and 10 - Demonstration and Research.

12/03/2008- Pest Control Operators
The 2008 Pest Control Operators CIC for commercial pesticide applicators will provide continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 7A, 7B, 8 and 10.
