There are a variety of ways to volunteer with 4-H depending on your time availability , skills, and interests.  Some possibilities include:

  • School enrichment programs
  • Project mentoring connected to your current hobby
  • Guest speakers for club meetings
  • Day camp group leaders
  • Supervise/chaperone youth events
  • Paperwork/data entry in the office
  • County fair assistance
  • Club leader

A national animal identification system is necessary to help protect American animal agriculture from disease threats.  The ability to find potentially sick or exposed animals early in a disease outbreak is essential to controlling the outbreak quickly.
