Iowa State University Extension will host an Ag Outlook & Management Seminar in Cedar Falls on Wednesday, November 12th starting at 8:30 a.m.  The site is MidWestOne located at 4510 Prairie Pkwy, Cedar Falls. The seminar is designed to provide agribusiness professionals and producers with an evaluation of current and outlook market conditions and expected trends in crop and livestock income potential.

Safety and stress during harvest season cannot be ignored, says Margaret Van Ginkel, an Iowa State University Extension and Outreach human sciences program specialist and Iowa Concern Hotline coordinator.

Finding the balance between emotions and the “teachable moment” as parents talk to their children is important, an Iowa State University Extension and Outreach specialist says.

The Agricultural Act of 2014 allows farmland owners and operators to make a one-time election of a commodity program among the Price Loss Coverage (PLC), the Agricultural Risk Coverage at the County Level (ARC-CO), and the Agricultural Risk Coverage at the Individual Level (ARC-IC) programs for 2014 through 2018.
