ISU Extension is Accepting Registrations for Move It! and Wound Up for Wind Day Camps 
 
Greene County 4th-6th grade youth are invited to Iowa State University Extension and Outreach's day camps in June. Move It!, focusing on forces and constructing a variety of vehicles will be June 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Boone County Historical Center in Boone. Participants will experiment with crash testing and vehicle design.   
 
Wound Up for Wind, focusing on wind energy and creating wind turbines, will be June 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Leonard Good Community Center in Ogden. Think like an engineer and compete to build the best wind turbine. Sign up with a friend to make it even more fun!
 
Registrations are requested by June 1.  Registration information is available at the Greene County Extension office, located at 104 West Washington Street in Jefferson.  Registration materials and fee are to be sent to the Boone County Extension office.
