Ag Marketing Meetings Scheduled

The Ogden Ag Marketing meetings are scheduled for Thurs., February 14th and Thurs., March 14th beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Leonard Good Community Center, located at 114 SW 8th Street in Ogden.  Refreshments will be served.  The sessions are provided free of charge, thanks to generous sponsorship from West Central Cooperative, Greene County Farm Bureau, and Boone County Farm Bureau.

Participants will discuss their experiences with the simulation and also hear from additional guest speakers.  ISU Extension and Outreach farm management specialist Steven Johnson will give information on crop insurance coverage and provide an update on the government farm program during the February meeting.  Meanwhile, the March meeting will include ISU Extension and Outreach climatologist Elwynn Taylor to talk about the 2013 crop weather outlook, followed by Steven Johnson, who will present information on 2013 crop marketing strategies.
