4-H Members Learn about the Fundamentals of Leadership
4-H’ers from Story, Boone and Greene counties joined together Friday, November 15 to learn about the fundamentals of leadership.  Iowa State University Collegiate 4-H members helped facilitate sessions focusing on the different leadership and officer positions 4-H’ers hold in their clubs.  The 4-H’ers also held a mock meeting and completed the night’s activities with games, snacks, and a dance competition.  Leadership is a valued component of 4-H and is encouraged in all members.  To learn more about the 4-H Program, contact the Greene County Extension Office at 515-386-2138, email sarahjo@iastate.edu, or view www.extension.iastate.edu/greene.  Iowa State University Extension and Outreach programs are available to all without regard to race, color, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, sex, marital status, disability, or status as a U.S. veteran.
