NEW 4-H Leadership Council beginnig January 2010! (Posted on 11/19/2009)
One youth and one adult representative from each Greene County 4-H club will serve on our revitalized 4-H Leadership Council beginning in January 2010! The council will promote the 4-H program, get input from clubs and the community regarding 4-H, and take an active role in planning, conducting and evaluating 4-H programming in Greene County! All 4-H club officers are invited to join us on Wednesday, December 30 for club officer training! Participate in NEW hands-on activities and games that give you practical experience in a leadership role! FUN and SNACKS! 4-H Market Beef Weigh-in (Posted on 10/30/2009)
Market beef weigh-in will take place on SUNDAY, December 20 from 1-4:30 pm at the Greene County Fairgrounds. This is a NEW day and time. Any youth who are considering showing beef at the 2010 Greene County Fair, Iowa State Fair or Ak-Sar-Ben need to attend and weigh-in their cattle. Follow this link for more specific information.
4-H Record Keeping & Award Information (Posted on 8/4/2009)
Click here to find 4-H record keeping forms and help sheets, as well as award applications! In order to be considered for any county awards (given at the awards ceremony in November), all record keeping and award applications must be turned in to the extension office by September 15.
